On June 4, 2026, the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia (UAPRN) held a press conference at Liberty Plaza in Atlanta to address the Georgia Composite Medical Board's (GCBOM) Position Statement — a ruling that poses an immediate risk to patient access to care and the ability of RNs, LPNs, and APRNs to deliver timely, evidence-based healthcare services across the state of Georgia.

The voices heard in this video represent thousands of advanced practice registered nurses — nurse practitioners, CRNAs, CNMs, and CNSs — who show up every day to deliver high-quality, accessible care to the citizens of Georgia.
